About the Project
In my role as Founder and President of Stellar Explorers, I've worked closely with our members to bring the wonders of the universe closer. We've organized star-gazing sessions, engaged in discussions about astronomical phenomena, and invited experts to share their knowledge with us. Thanks to the dedication of everyone involved, the club has grown into a reliable space for young astronomy enthusiasts who share a passion for exploring the cosmos.
We successfully hosted the final round of the Astronomy Competition with the enthusiastic participation of outstanding contestants. Notably, the competition was held online via Google Meet, offering convenience and flexibility for all participants. The atmosphere during the finals was lively and filled with excitement as the contestants showcased their knowledge and passion for the universe. This event was not only a competitive challenge but also a great opportunity for everyone to connect and learn from each other.
We participated in a special volunteer activity—teaching children with autism through astronomy models. Using 3D solar system models, we helped the kids explore the universe in a lively and interactive way. Through games and activities, we taught the children astronomy knowledge and encouraged their creative thinking. Despite facing communication challenges, the children showed curiosity and enthusiasm when interacting with the models and asking interesting questions. We hope to have more opportunities to connect and bring joy to the learning experiences of these children.
