Where Music Awakens Inner Melodies
"Music is a space where my emotions, thoughts, and soul flow naturally. My musical journey began in childhood when I first heard the soft sound of a piano from my parents' old phone. Those gentle melodies captivated me instantly, and from that moment, I knew I wanted to create beautiful sounds of my own.
As I started learning to play the piano, each time I sat in front of it felt like stepping into a different world—one where all the worries of the outside disappeared. Pieces like Melody of the Night 5 by Shi Jin or Ballade Pour Adeline by Paul de Senneville always stirred a constant flow of emotions in me. During a school performance, while playing Ballade Pour Adeline, I deeply felt the connection with the audience through each note. That's when I realized that music was more than just self-expression—it was a bridge that connected souls.
Over time, my passion grew, and I discovered a love for composing. One of my earliest works was a remix of We Don't Talk Anymore, a catchy song that closely resonated with my generation. The song's lyrics captured emotions familiar to many at my age—the sadness of broken relationships and the distance between friends.
In deciding to remix this song, I saw a great opportunity to merge my personal taste with musical creativity. It allowed me to connect with my friends and peers while also expressing my unique musical style. Choosing a familiar song like We Don't Talk Anymore gave me the chance to experiment and explore new ideas, broadening my composition and arranging skills.
Empowering Inner Strength with Sports
"I've always believed that the strength of both body and mind must go hand in hand. When my body feels strong and healthy, I feel energetic and full of life, which has a positive effect on my mood and mental well-being. That's why I decided to start practicing kickboxing in 10th grade. I still remember those early days in class when I struggled with the basic moves, but those initial challenges made me stronger. After each intense session, it felt like I was transforming—becoming healthier, more confident, and more in control of everything around me.
Swimming has also been a significant part of my physical journey. I learned to swim when I was in elementary school, thanks to my dad, who would take me to the local pool. One day, my friends and I decided to have a race, and to my surprise, I finished first despite being relatively new to swimming. That moment made me realize my love for the water and the sense of freedom it gave me. Every time I swim, I forget all my worries—it's just me and the cool, clear water.
The strength of the mind, including willpower and the ability to face difficulties, is the key that helps me overcome challenges. In stressful situations, perseverance and mental toughness keep me motivated and prevent me from giving up. When the strength of the body and mind combine, they create a solid foundation for personal growth. A person not only needs physical health but also mental strength to overcome life's obstacles. Training both aspects has helped me find balance and harmony, allowing me to become the best version of myself.
The Art of Precision: How Billiards Sharpens My Mind and Skills
Playing billiards is a particularly fascinating hobby of mine. As a high school student specializing in physics, I am not only passionate about formulas and physical laws but also enjoy the precision and finesse in each shot of billiards. Every time I play, I clearly feel the combination of logical thinking and skillful execution in every ball stroke. This game not only hones my concentration but also helps me develop quick problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking. It's truly exciting how a seemingly simple game can stimulate the mind so much!
